WAYS WE MAY MEET
Different forms. One intention.
This work takes different forms. Sometimes through writing. Sometimes through a conversation. Sometimes through a course or a talk. Whatever the form, the intention is the same: to understand suffering more deeply, to cultivate wisdom and compassion, and to discover a freer way of living.
Not everyone needs ongoing guidance. Sometimes one thoughtful conversation is enough to bring clarity to something that's felt confusing for a long time. People usually reach out while navigating emotional difficulty, relationships, meditation, meaning, or a major life transition.
I don't offer therapy, counselling, or coaching. What I offer is a space for honest exploration, grounded in contemplative practice, Buddhist psychology, and lived experience.
I keep a limited amount of space for this, so that each conversation gets real attention rather than a rotating door. Write first, and if it feels like a good fit, I'll share a time to talk.
The End of Seeking is itself written as a self-guided course — theendofseeking.live is where that unfolds, at your own pace, with no need to involve me directly.
What I offer here is different: courses customised for individual needs, small groups, or organisations, shaped around what you're actually working with rather than a fixed curriculum for everyone. If that's useful, get in touch and tell me a little about what you're looking for.
I occasionally accept invitations to teach or speak — for meditation centres, organisations, community groups, podcasts, and meaningful gatherings. Possible topics include but not limited to understanding suffering and emotional wellbeing, Buddhist psychology for everyday life, meditation and contemplative practice, compassion and relationships, and the six-stage path.
If you'd like to discuss an invitation, I'd be glad to hear from you.
Writing remains the heart of my work — books, articles, and occasional letters that let a conversation continue long after we've closed a page. The writing is here, and the book is here.
Sometimes through words.
Sometimes through teaching.
Sometimes through quiet conversation.
Sometimes simply through being fully present with another person.
Most often, through ordinary life itself.
If our paths happen to cross, I hope it leaves us both with a little more understanding, and a little more trust in what's already possible.
